CSPU Delegation Visits Poland: Strengthening Academic Cooperation

On July 7, 2026, a delegation from Chirchiq State Pedagogical University (CSPU) arrived in Poland for an official visit at the invitation of the University of Warsaw. The visit is being conducted within the framework of a major international project funded by NAWA titled, "Promoting Polish Language and Culture in Uzbekistan: Not Only Chopin, Mickiewicz, and Słowacki."

The visit began with an official meeting at the Institute of Intercultural Studies of Central and Eastern Europe. Representatives and students from CSPU held productive negotiations with the leadership of the Faculty of Applied Linguistics at the University of Warsaw, including the Dean, habilitated doctor Agnieszka Andrychowicz-Trojanowska, and the Director for Student Affairs, habilitated doctor Agnieszka Błaszczak.

Focus on Science and Academic Exchange

During the bilateral negotiations, the parties discussed strategic directions for cooperation between the two universities, with a particular focus on:

• Joint Educational Programs: Developing collaborative curricula and shared academic initiatives.

• Research Collaboration: Initiating joint scientific projects to enhance research capabilities.

• Academic Mobility: Expanding exchange programs for both students and faculty members.

• Future Partnerships: Establishing new and promising directions for long-term international cooperation.

Strengthening Intercultural Dialogue

Reflecting on the importance of the partnership, the meeting participants noted:

"The current NAWA project creates a unique opportunity not only to study the Polish language and culture in depth but also to establish strong and long-lasting ties between the academic communities of Poland and Uzbekistan."

This visit marks another significant step in strengthening intercultural dialogue, expanding the scope of international scientific and educational cooperation, and further integrating Chirchiq State Pedagogical University into the global educational space.
