🌍 International Summer School at ChDPU – 2026

The Department of German Language at Chirchik State Pedagogical University, in cooperation with the
Leibniz Institute for the German Language (IDS, Mannheim), is pleased to announce the organization of the
“Summer School in Empirical German Linguistics (Sommerschule)”, to be held on 13–17 April 2026.

👥 Who can apply?
Young researchers, Master’s students, and final-year Bachelor’s students currently studying or working at partner universities.

🎯 Aim:
To strengthen academic competencies in empirical linguistics, corpus linguistics, modern grammar and sociolinguistics, and to foster academic cooperation with Germany.

👩‍🏫 Programme includes:

• academic lectures

• seminars and workshops

• practical training sessions

• individual research консультаtions (you may change to “consultations”)

📌 Number of participants: 20
(If applications exceed this number, participants will be selected based on equal quotas among partner universities.)

☕🍽 Facilities provided:

• coffee breaks and lunch (Mittagessen) provided by the organizers

• free accommodation in the student dormitory if needed

• official permission letters for workplaces or universities upon request

📝 Main requirements:

• affiliation with a partner university

• German language proficiency at least at B2 level

• active engagement in a research project

• interest in international scholarships and academic cooperation with Germany
