๐ The International Summer School at CSPU Successfully Concluded
The international summer school organized at Chirchik State Pedagogical University in cooperation with the Leibniz Institute for the German Language (Leibniz-Institut fรผr Deutsche Sprache, IDS, Mannheim, Germany) has successfully concluded.
๐ On April 17, 2026, the final day of the programme was held at a high academic level.
๐ค Within the framework of the final day:
- an abschlieรende Diskussion (final discussion) was held with participants;
- lectures on digital learning materials and modern teaching approaches were delivered;
- key concepts of corpus linguistics were further deepened.
๐ In particular, the professors presented:
- digital learning modules for German language teaching ;
- corpus-based lexical research approaches.
๐ At the end of the event:
- participants were awarded Teilnahmebestรคtigungen (certificates of participation);
- visiting professors were presented with Ehren- und Dankesurkunden (certificates of recognition and appreciation).
๐ค Throughout the summer school, participants gained in-depth knowledge and practical skills in empirical German linguistics, corpus linguistics, sociolinguistics, and modern language teaching methodologies.
๐ This project stands as a vivid example of successful international cooperation between CSPU and IDS and plays an important role in strengthening the research environment and developing the academic potential of young Germanists.
