Individual Education – the Foundation of Professionalism

The Department of Psychology presented its project titled “Individual Education – the Foundation of Professionalism,” based on the individual educational trajectory system being implemented at the university.

The educational exhibition event was dedicated to the analysis of eight specialized projects of the Department of Psychology aimed at narrow professional fields.

Using individual education as an example, the projects demonstrated opportunities to involve 56 percent of first- and second-year full-time students.

The main purpose of the exhibition event was reflected in the students’ presentations — to train highly qualified professional psychologists specialized in narrow fields in accordance with international standards.

“In the department’s перспективе strategy, we plan to train specialists such as Neuropsychologists, Music Therapists, Child Psychologists, Bibliotherapists, Rapid Diagnostic (QD) Psychologists, HR Manager Psychologists, Consultant Psychologists, and Trainer Psychologists. It would not be an exaggeration to say that this approach is not only the first in Uzbekistan, but also one of the first steps among CIS countries,” said the Head of the Department of Psychology, Nortoji Eshnayev.
