📚 For 1st-year students of the History program 📌 Topic:Uzbekistan and the World Community
🗣 Lecturer: Gaffarov Y.Kh.
The lecture will focus on the role of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the global community, its cooperation with international organizations, key directions of foreign policy, and the importance of global processes in today’s world.
The lecture aims to develop historical thinking, civic responsibility, and a forward-looking mindset among students.
In order to ensure the implementation of the priority tasks set out in the Address of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Oliy Majlis and the people of Uzbekistan, as well as in the “Uzbekistan — 2030” strategy, awareness-raising activities are being carried out at the level of mahallas in the districts of Tashkent region.
To organize these awareness activities at a high level and with maximum efficiency, 11 working groups consisting of representatives from various sectors have been formed. From January 14 to 27, meetings and roundtable discussions are planned in the mahallas of Tashkent region.
Teachers of Chirchik State Pedagogical University, as well as heads of departments, have been involved in these awareness activities. Systematic work is being carried out to convey to the population the content and significance of the President’s Address and the “Uzbekistan — 2030” strategy, to discuss issues with mahalla activists, and to study existing problems in the communities.
Specifically, as part of the 5th working group, Professor Y.X. Gaffarov of the Department of History, Faculty of Humanities of Chirchik State Pedagogical University, Head of the Department of History Sh.B. Jumayeva, and Head of the Department of Algebra and Mathematical Analysis G.X. Djumabayev are conducting awareness activities in the mahallas of Qibray and Tashkent districts.
During the activities held in Sharq and Jomiy mahallas (Qibray district), as well as Oltintepa mahalla (Tashkent district), the proposals and initiatives of the local population were studied, and the identified problems are being addressed by the responsible authorities of Tashkent region.
🎓 MEETING OF THREE GENERATIONS
During the event, an important occasion in the field of science and education took place. In particular, a presentation was held for newly published textbooks by Academician of the Turon Academy of Sciences and Professor of the Department of History, Y.Kh. Gaffarov — History of Eastern and Western Civilizations and Methodology of Teaching History.
During the meeting, Y.Kh. Gaffarov provided detailed information about the process of creating these works, their theoretical and scientific foundations, their significance in the educational process, as well as methodological directions for young researchers.
📚 The event brought together representatives of three generations — mentors, young scholars, and students — serving as a platform for experience exchange, continuity of scholarly heritage, and increasing interest in historical science. ✨ Such meetings play an important role in strengthening academic traditions, inspiring young people toward scientific pursuits, and contributing достойно to the development of national historiography.
