From 1996 to 1997, he worked as a lecturer at the Department of Translation Theory and Comparative Linguistics of the Tashkent State Pedagogical Institute named after Nizami.
From 1997 to 1999, he served as Deputy Dean for Spiritual and Educational Affairs of the Faculty of Uzbek Language and Literature at the Tashkent State Pedagogical University named after Nizami.
From 1999 to 2005, he held the position of Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs of the Correspondence Department of the Faculty of Uzbek Language and Literature at TSPU named after Nizami.
From 2005 to 2016, he was a Senior Lecturer at the Department of General Linguistics of TSPU named after Nizami.
In 2016–2017, he headed the Department for Spiritual and Educational Work and Work with Gifted Students at TSPU named after Nizami.
In 2017–2018, he worked as a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Uzbek Language and Speech Culture of the same university.
In 2018–2019, he served as Acting Head of the Department of Uzbek and Kazakh Languages at TSPU named after Nizami.
From 2019 to 2021, he was a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Uzbek Linguistics at the Alisher Navoi University of Uzbek Language and Literature.
From 2021 to 2022, he served as Acting Associate Professor at the Department of Uzbek Linguistics of the Chirchik State Pedagogical Institute of the Tashkent Region.
From 2022 to 2025, he served as Acting Associate Professor at the Department of Uzbek Linguistics of the Chirchik State Pedagogical University.
From 2025 to the present — Associate Professor of the Department of Uzbek Linguistics at Chirchik State Pedagogical University.
K. A. Muydinov consistently develops the “Teacher–Student” mentoring system and conducts systematic work with gifted students. His students, Diyorbеk Ruzmamatovich Turgunpulatov and Mashkhura Akmalovna Askarova (majoring in Uzbek Language and Literature), became recipients of the Navoi State Scholarship in the 2022–2023 academic year. In addition, D. R. Turgunpulatov won first place in the nomination “Most Knowledgeable Student in His Field” at the Republican Competition “Student of the Year – 2022”, organized by the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education.
In 2023, for his active academic, pedagogical, and public service, he was awarded the university distinction “Education Initiator.”
K. A. Muydinov makes a significant contribution to educating the youth of Uzbekistan as spiritually mature, highly qualified specialists devoted to their homeland.
He is a member of the Editorial Board of the international academic journal “Involta.”

On June 12, 2019, Kadirjon Abdurassulovich Muydinov successfully defended his doctoral dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Philological Sciences in the specialty 10.00.01 — Uzbek Language, entitled:
“Lexicon of Judicial Speech in the Uzbek Language.”
By Resolution No. 266/1 dated June 29, 2019, he was awarded the academic degree of PhD in Philological Sciences (Diploma No. 01 001671).
In 2025, he was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor.
In 2008, he became a scholarship holder of the “Iste’dod” Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and completed advanced training courses in pedagogy and innovative technologies at Shanghai University (People’s Republic of China).
