Pedagogical strategies for enhancing environmental education in Uzbek primary schools: a mixed-methods study

This article investigates pedagogical strategies for enhancing environmental education in primary schools in Uzbekistan through a mixed-methods research approach. The study combines quantitative and qualitative data to examine teachers’ practices, students’ environmental knowledge, attitudes, and practical skills. Particular attention is given to interdisciplinary learning, project-based activities, experiential learning, and problem-solving strategies. The findings aim to identify effective approaches for developing environmental awareness, responsibility, and sustainable behavior among primary school students and to provide practical recommendations for improving environmental education in the Uzbek primary school context.
