Study the impact of potato virus y on the content of chlorophyll and carotenoids in plant tissue

Yuklab olishlar
Potato Virus Y (PVY) to the photosynthetic pigments of plants was determined. As a result of the conducted studies, it was found that with an increase in the degree of virus infection, the content of chlorophyll “a” and chlorophyll “b” pigments in plant leaves decreases compared to the control (2.217-1.462 mg/g) by 1.1 times (1.999-1.202 mg/g) inmild infection, by 1.3 times (1.6700.901 mg/g) in moderate infection, and by 2.7 times (0.8230.564 mg/g) in severe infection. It was also studied that with an increase in the degree of infection, the content of carotenoids, on the contrary, increases.
